Using the Schema database to add a syntax to the schema
You can use the IBM® Lotus® Domino™ LDAP Schema database (SCHEMA.NSF) to add a syntax to the schema:

1. Make sure you have Manager access to the Schema database.

2. Open the Schema database on any server in the domain that runs the LDAP service.

3. Select the All Schema Documents view, then click New Document - Add Syntax.

4. Complete these fields on the Basics tab:

5. Click Save & Close:

6. Complete the procedure "Approving draft schema documents in the Schema database."
