Soft Delete does not work in a mixed environment

In a mixed release environment, users who have a database with soft delete enabled will have problems deleting documents in that database, if it is replicated back to a 6.0 server that is running the older forms file (Forms5) and Template.

Spell check character set should match server OS

The IBM® Lotus® Domino™ Web Access spell check functionality will not work properly, unless the Domino server operating system character set is the same as the text being checked. If this is not the case, the spell check engine may not correctly interpret some characters.

Text in some fields displays too small in localized versions

In some localized versions of Domino Web Access on Mozilla Firefox on Linux®, text in some of the fields, such as Search or cc: may appear too small. This happens if the browser character encoding is set to Unicode (UTF-8) or Western (ISO-8859-1, for example). Users can customize the browser Character Encoding set to the required language (View - Character Encoding - Customize List).

Pop-up blockers prevent windows from opening

Pop-up blockers may prevent new windows from launching, which makes Domino Web Access unusable. For example, users cannot create a new message or calendar entry because they pop-up blocker prevents the new message or calendar entry form from opening. Pop-up blockers are enabled by default on some browsers. To resolve this issue, users can either disable pop-up blocking altogether, or add allowed sites, such as *.ibm.com, for example.

Users cannot open doc links on servers other than mail server

To allow users to open attached doc links for documents that reside on servers other than the mail server, you must enable the field "redirect to resolve external links" in the Server document or the Internet Site document (if configured). You must also replicate the server's catalog.nsf with that of the external server.

Attachments larger than 10MB are not allowed

By default Domino Web Access allows a maximum attachment size of 50,000K (50MB), which you can increase by setting the "Maximum attachment size (kb)" field in the Domino server Configuration Settings document on the Domino Web Access tab. However, attachment size is based on two parameters that default to a 10,000K (10MB) limit independent of this setting. So even though Domino Web Access allows for a larger attachment, the following two settings must be increased to a value larger than the Domino Web Access maximum attachment setting for users to be able to add attachments larger than 10MB.
