Changing the number of threads used by the Administration Process
By default, the Administration Process uses three threads to process requests. To improve Administration Process performance, increase the number of threads.

1. From the IBM® Lotus® Domino™ Administrator, click Configuration - Server - Current Server Document.

Note If you want to edit a Server document for another server, click Configuration - Server - All Server Documents and then select the document you want to edit.

2. Click Edit Document and then click Server Tasks.

3. Enter a value greater than 3 in the "Maximum number of threads" field in the Basics section of the tab.

4. Click Save and Close.

5. To allow the change to take effect, stop the Administration Process and then restart it. Enter these commands from the server console:
