You need to be aware of the following information when creating the service dependency:

• The Registry subkeys for services are located in the following path. These subkeys control how services are loaded.

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lotus Domino Server (Data)\

• Create a new value named Depend on Service and then enter REG_MULTI_SZ as the data type.
• In the Data dialog box enter the name of the service exactly as the name of the service appears in the registry under the Services key. When the computer starts, it uses this entry to verify that the service or services listed in this value are started before attempting to start the dependent service.
• After creating the dependency, shut down and restart your system. The service manager process loads the dependency list when the system restarts.
