Creating a service dependency for Domino and DB2
If you are using a local configuration with IBM® Lotus® Domino™ and IBM® DB2 Universal Database™ Enterprise Server Edition running on the same computer, you may want to create a service dependency in Microsoft® Windows®. Creating a service dependency between Domino and DB2 ensures that when Domino is configured to run as a service, the Domino service only starts after the DB2 service starts for that DB2 instance. This service dependency applies only to a local configuration of Domino and DB2. Before creating the service dependency, read all of the information in this topic.
