The Server document, Miscellaneous tab, contains a spindle count interface that is used with the DDM OS Disk probes for Microsoft® Windows® servers only. Specifying spindle counts is important because the disk statistics monitored by the OS Disk probe on Microsoft Windows is adjusted by IBM® Lotus® Domino™ to account for the disk spindle counts. Enter spindle count information after setting up the DDM OS probes.

This table contains the names and descriptions of the Operating System probes that you can define. For information about configuring the Operating System probes, see the topic Creating Operating System probes.

Operating System probe	Description
Operating System -- CPU	Monitors CPU usage.
Operating System -- Disk	Monitors activity on all disks.
Operating System -- Memory	Monitors the amount of physical memory being used.
Operating System -- Network	Monitors the amount of network traffic on the server.
