Set DB2 password in server's ID file
Use the Set Server's DB2 ID menu item to modify the password and user name that the IBM® Lotus® Domino™ server uses to communicate with the DB2 server.

Note If you are modifying a user account name, create the new user account name and password at the OS level before using the Set Server's DB2 ID menu item. If you are only modifying a password for an existing user account, be sure to change the password associated with that user account at the OS level on the DB2 server before changing it using the Tools - DB2 Server - Set Server's DB2 ID menu item.

Initiating a modification to the Domino server's DB2 password, and optionally, the DB2 user name by using the Set Server's DB2 ID menu item on the Configuration - Tools - DB2 Server menu.

Carried out on: The selected server that is being administered.

Carried out: Immediately.

Result: Updates the password and user name fields in the server's ID file with the information that you entered.
