Server Tasks - Administration Process tab
Use the Administration Process tab to set scheduling parameters for administration requests and to specify settings for inbox maintenance.

1. In the Basics section of the Administration Process tab, "Maximum number of threads" field, specify the number of threads that the Administration Process can use, or use the default setting of 3.

2. Complete these fields as necessary:

IntervalSpecify the number of minutes that pass between the processing of name-management requests -- rename, delete, and recertify. The default is 60 minutes.
Execute once a day requests atSpecify the time when updates to Person documents occur and "Rename person in unread lists" requests run. The default is 12 AM.
Interval between purging mail file and deleting when using object storeSpecify the number of days that pass between running the Object Collect task against a mail file that uses shared mail and deleting the mail file. The default is 14 days.
Start executing onSelect the day on which Updates to Authors and Readers fields in a database and discovery of shared and private design elements for a deleted person occur. The default is Sunday.
Start executing atSpecify the time when the updates to Authors and Readers fields in a database and discovery of shared and private design elements for a deleted person occur. The default is 12 AM.
Mail file moves expire afterSpecify the number of days during which the Notes client will update mail-related changes. The default is 21 days. Valid values are 7 to 60, inclusive.
Store Admin Process log entries when status of no change is recordedIt is recommended that you use the default setting of No. Keeping this field set to "No" may greatly reduce the size of the Administration Request database. When set to No, a "No change" status entry is logged in the Administration Process log each time a database is scanned to determine whether an administration request requires a change to that database and no change is made.

Suspend Admin Process at(Optional) Specify the time when the Administration Process stops processing requests. To conserve server resources, suspend the Administration Process during peak computer hours.

Restart Admin Process at(Optional) Specify the time when the Administration Process starts processing requests again. To conserve server resources, set the Administration Process to restart during non-peak computer usage hours. 3. Complete these Inbox Maintenance fields as necessary:

Start executing Inbox Maintenance agent onSpecify one of more days of the week on which to run the Inbox Maintenance agent on the Notes client users' home server, that is, the server that stores the mail files containing the users' Inboxes. The default is Saturday.
Start executing Inbox Maintenance agent atSpecify the time of day at which to run the run the Inbox Maintenance agent on the Notes client users' home server, that is, the server that stores the mail files containing the users' Inboxes. The default is 1:00 AM.
Maintain inboxes for only these selected users on this home serverChoose this option to maintain inboxes only for those users that you specify. When you choose this options, the Selected users field appears.
Maintain inboxes based on policiesChoose this option to maintain inboxes based on settings that you specify in the mail settings policy document, on the Mail - Basics tab.
Selected usersSpecify the users whose Inboxes on the home server are to be maintained by the Inbox Maintenance agent. This option only applies if you chose "Maintain inboxes for only these selected users on this home server."
Remove documents older than [X] days from InboxSpecify the number of days to elapse prior to automatically removing documents from a user's Inbox.

This option only applies if you chose "Maintain inboxes for only these selected users on this home server."

Do not remove unread documents from InboxClick Yes if you want to prevent Unread documents from being removed from the user's Inbox. Documents are removed from a user's Inbox according to the value you specify in the field "Remove documents older than [X] days from Inbox."

By default, this setting is not checked. This option only applies if you chose "Maintain inboxes for only these selected users on this home server."

4. Click save and close.
