The ldapsearch utility
LDAPSEARCH.EXE is a utility that you run from the operating system prompt that searches any LDAP directory. ldapsearch connects to a directory server that you specify and returns results according to specified search criteria. ldapsearch is provided with the IBM® Lotus® Domino™ server and the IBM® Lotus® Notes® client. This tool uses standard LDAP search syntax so you can also use it to learn about using LDAP to search an LDAP directory.
