DB2 group runidxstats <Group Name> [Table Name]
Description
Updates index statistics for the group or table. IBM® DB2 Universal Database™ Enterprise Server Edition uses table statistics (for example, the number of rows ) to determine the optimum access plan, that is, the fastest way to access the data. Updating these statistics can improve performance, particularly for tables which have had dramatic size changes. It is not necessary to run these commands for the normal operation of IBM® Lotus® Domino™. There may be support situations in which these need to be run.
