DOMINO AND DB2

Locking a DB2 group
When you manually lock an IBM® DB2 Universal Database™ Enterprise Server Edition group, you prevent additional databases from being added to it. If you manually lock a DB2 group, and then remove a DB2 enabled Notes database from the group, the group remains locked, even if the group does not contain the maximum number of DB2 enabled IBM® Lotus® Notes® databases.

1. From the IBM® Lotus® Domino™ Administrator, click the Files tab.

2. In the left panel, click DB2 Groups.

3. Select the DB2 group that you want locked.

4. Choose Tools - DB2 Groups - Lock Group.
