Sorting in non-U.S. English locales
If the server operating system locale settings are set to anything other than U.S. English, the database properties for directory catalogs must be manually set to the system locale as well. Otherwise, when you attempt to build the Directory Catalog, you will get sorting errors.

For each Directory Catalog database and associated source directories:

1. Click File - Application - Properties - Design.

2. Under Multilingual Options:

Enable 'Multilingual database'
Set 'Default language' to system locale language
Set 'Default sort order' to system locale language
Enable 'Unicode standard sorting.'

3. Load the Directory Catalog. It will now sort correctly for the system locale.
