DOMINO AND DB2

Recreating links to DB2 enabled Notes databases
Use the recreate links tool to reconnect the IBM® DB2 Universal Database™ Enterprise Server Edition enabled IBM® Lotus® Notes® databases in a tablespace to the Domino catalog and to create a link file for any DB2 enabled Notes database in the specified tablespace. The tool updates the Groups table and verifies that the entries in the Domino catalog also exist in the specified tablespace. Entries are removed from the Domino catalog if they do not also exist in the restored tablespace.

1. From the IBM® Lotus® Domino™ Administrator, click Files.

2. In the left pane, select the group whose tablespace you are restoring.

3. Click Tools -- Database -- Recreate links to NSFDB2 databases.

4. Click Yes when this message appears: "This tool will reconcile NSFDB2 databases stored in the group with the Domino catalog. Do you wish to continue?"
