SETTING PREFERENCES


What are administration preferences?
Administration preferences should be set only by your Domino Administrator.

If the Administration Preferences dialog box is not open, click File > Preferences > Administration Preferences.

Macintosh OS X users: Click Notes > Preferences > Administration Preferences.

Internet mail or news format

Set the IBM® Lotus® Notes® user preference Mail > Internet- Internet mail format or Mail > Internet > Internet news format and Prompt when sending to send a mail message over the Internet or post a message to a newsgroup.

Do one of the following options for the mail or newsgroup message:


Tip To avoid being prompted every time you send a mail message or post a newsgroup message, click File > Preferences > User Preferences (Macintosh OS X users: Click Notes > Preferences > User Preferences), click Mail, and then click Internet. Under Internet mail format, click the format you want to use for all mail messages you send over the Internet. Under Internet news format, click the format you want to use for all messages you post to newsgroups.
