WORKING WITH NOTES DOCUMENTS

Using the ruler to format paragraphs
The ruler is a tool you can use to indent paragraphs, set margins, or set tabs. To display the ruler, put the document in Edit mode, and then click View > Ruler. Then, simply move the appropriate pointers on the ruler with your mouse to make adjustments in your document. The ruler contains two triangle pointers stacked on top of each other, creating an hourglass shape. You use the triangles to set right and left margins for paragraphs and for the document itself.
