Disabling instant spell checking
If you want, you can turn off the feature that flags misspelled words with wavy red underlines as you work.

Note By default, instant spell checking is on. The following procedure changes the default setting to off, so that each time you start Notes, spell checking is off. To turn spell checking on or off just for the duration of the current session, select or deselect Tools > Instant Spell Check on the main menu.

1. Click File > Preferences > User Preferences.


2. Click the plus sign beside International and then click Spell Check.

3. Deselect Enable Instant Spell checking.
