SETTING PREFERENCES

To disable view updates as a background task
By default, IBM® Lotus® Notes® updates views in the background so you can continue working while Lotus Notes performs intensive update tasks. If you want, you can set views to update in the foreground, but, depending on the size of the view, this could interrupt your work.

1. Click File > Preferences > User Preferences.


2. Under Additional Options, select Disable View updates as a background task.

3. Click OK.
