MAIL
The default importance for messages is Normal. Setting a message's importance to High displays an exclamation point next to the message in the Inbox of recipients. Importance does not change the order or speed with which Notes delivers messages.
1. Click Delivery Options above the message.
2. In the Importance field, select High, Normal, or Low, and then click OK.

To confirm delivery of a message
Notes uses delivery reports to confirm delivery of messages to the mail servers of recipients.
2. In the Delivery report field, select one of these options, and then click OK.
To change the delivery priority of a message
Delivery priority determines how soon Notes routes a message to Notes mail recipients.
2. In the Delivery priority field, select one of these options, and then click OK.
Note This priority applies only to messages that are sent to another server. Messages sent to a Notes recipient on the same mail server are delivered immediately.
To confirm that a message is opened using return receipt
If a recipient's mail program supports this feature, you can have Notes send you a return receipt when a recipient reads a message you sent. Many Internet mail programs support return receipts. However, even if a recipient's mail program supports this feature, a recipient's organization may not allow it for security reasons.
2. Select Return receipt, and then click OK.
Tip You can also track a sent message.
To prevent copying or forwarding of a message
You can prevent Notes mail recipients from copying a Notes mail message that you send. This includes copying with the clipboard, forwarding, replying with history, and printing. Note that this option is merely a deterrent to copying, as recipients can use other means to copy the message.
2. Select Prevent copying, and then click OK.
To spell check a message before delivery
You can have Notes automatically spell check a message when you send the message.
2. Select Auto spellcheck, and then click OK.
Tip You can also turn on automatic spell checking for all mail messages.
To add a confidential prefix to the message subject
You can have Notes add the prefix *Confidential: to the message subject.
2. Select Mark Subject Confidential, and then click OK.
To prevent receipt of out-of-office messages from others
If you know that a recipient is on vacation, and want to be able to send the person messages without receiving out-of-office replies, you can have Notes refuse this type of reply.
2. Select Do not notify me if recipient(s) are running Out of Office, and then click OK.
To prevent expansion of personal groups when sending a message
If you address a message to a personal group (a group in your contact list), you can prevent message recipients from seeing the membership of the group in the message.
2. Select Do not expand personal groups, and then click OK.
Note If you forward or reply to a message that displays the personal group name in the To field, you must select this option again for the forwarded message or reply to prevent expansion of the group again. If you use Reply to All or a More > Copy Into New command, a No Match or Ambiguous Names dialog box could display.
To add a mood stamp to a message
You can use a mood stamp to indicate a particular type of message, such as a personal or thank you message. Notes displays the stamp next to the message in the recipient's Inbox and above the body of the message itself.
2. In the Mood Stamp field, select a mood stamp style, and then click OK. To display no mood stamp, select Normal.
