To disable embedded browser for MIME mail
By default, IBM® Lotus® Notes® uses your system browser to display MIME mail. This provides better rendering of your mail when compared with the Notes default browser, but does not provide as accurate printing or the mail header as the Notes default browser. Use of the system browser might also result in security issues in come cases.

If you prefer to have the Notes default browser and not the system browser control the display of your MIME mail, perform the following steps.

1. Click File > Preferences > User Preferences.


2. Under Additional Options, select Disable embedded browser for MIME mail.

3. Click OK.
