Setting automatic alarms
Instead of setting alarms on individual calendar entries, you can set automatic alarms for all calendar entries of a particular type, such as reminders.

1. Click More at the top of the calendar, and then click Preferences.

2. Click Alarms.

3. Select Display alarm notifications.

4. Under Turn on alarms for, select one or more calendar entry types to set automatic alarms for.

5. For each type, type a number to set how far in advance the alarm should go off.

6. (Optional) To change the defaullt sound for alarms, select a sound in the Default sound field. Click Play to test the selected sound.

7. Click OK.

Tip You can change the automatic alarm settings for an individual calendar entry by clicking the alarm icon in the entry.
