ELEMENTS OF LOTUS NOTES
The status bar in Lotus Notes shows:
Tip During a background task with a lot of status information, such as replacing the design of an application, click the status bar, and the history list expands in size and scrolls to show you as much information as possible.
Tip The Send Outgoing Mail, Send & Receive Mail, and Receive Mail commands on this menu work with both Lotus Notes mail and Internet mail.
Preferences let you modify the status bar. You can add or remove items and establish the order in which the status bar items will display.
1. Choose File > Preferences > Status Bar Preferences.
Tip If you enable the Progress item, you can also set Audible notification when complete, and Lotus Notes beeps when the task in progress, such as replication, completes.
5. Click OK.
To discard all the modifications you've made and return to the original settings for the status bar, click the Defaults button.
Tip You can open Status Bar Preferences by right-clicking anywhere on the status bar and choosing Status Bar Preferences.
