| Disable an alarm notification before this event occurs | Select this option to disable the alarm. |
| Alarm will go off | Use these fields to set how long before or after the calendar entry's start time or date, or the to do item's due date, the alarm should go off. |
| Play sound | Select this option to play a sound when the alarm goes off. Then select the sound to play. To test the selected sound, click the speaker icon.
The selected sound overrides the default sound for all alarms if you have set one. To set a default sound for alarms, see Setting automatic alarms. |
| Send mail notification with subject | Select this option to send one or more people an e-mail reminder of the calendar entry or to do item when the alarm goes off. Then specify the recipients.
The e-mail subject is the subject of the calendar entry or to do item. |
