To find unread documents at startup
You can set IBM® Lotus® Notes® up to automatically scan your startup Notes application for any unread documents and to display those documents when you start Lotus Notes.
1. Click
File
>
Preferences
>
User Preferences
.
Macintosh OS X users:
Click
Lotus Notes
>
Preferences
>
User Preferences
.
2. Under
Startup and shut down,
select
Scan for unread
and click
OK
.
Tips
To scan unread documents at any time, click
Edit
>
Unread Marks
>
Scan Unread
.
You can also scan unread mail by opening the Quickpick menu at the right end of the status bar and clicking
Scan Unread Mail
.
