PRINTING

To print in the background
By default, IBM® Lotus® Notes® prints in the foreground and at least momentarily interrupts other work. You can set printing to occur in the background so you can continue working while Lotus Notes performs intensive printing tasks.

1. Click File > Preferences > User Preferences.

2. Under Additional Options, select Process Print requests as a background task.

3. Click OK.

Macintosh users
In OS X, background printing is always on. For more information, refer to your Macintosh OS Help.
