savedoc tag
Creates a navigation tag that enables the user to save the current document. The document is only saved after all validation tags are passed. This tag reposts the current document after saving it; add your own client-side JavaScript code to determine what displays once the document is saved.

Note This tag generates HTML that causes the page to reload when a user clicks it. If you want to save the parameters that you passed into the page, you must use a preserve tag for each parameter you want to save or it will be lost when the page reloads.

Attributes

The following attributes are optional:

showdisabled

Indicates whether or not to display the link when save is disabled. In view mode, save is always disabled. If you want to display the link with an icon, include an HTML <img> tag that represents an image file in the body of the tag. Include a disabled image using the

docnavimg

tag. Default is false.

text

Text for button label. To localize the text, use the

msg

tag in the body of the savedoc tag. Default is "Save" (localized).
