Creating a new composite application XML file from the Applications view
In Notes-based composite applications, a unique XML file is required that consists of design notes that contain composite application definitions for the new composite application. This XML file is stored within the "container" IBM® Lotus® Notes® application used for the composite application.

You can create a new composite application XML file from the Composite Applications-Application view. Use the following procedure to do this:

1. In IBM® Lotus® Domino(TM) Designer, navigate to Composite Applications-Applications (in the database bookmark in the left panel).

2. Click the New Comp App button in the Applications pane.

3. Enter a name for the new composite application.

4. Click OK.

5. A new XML element appears in the Applications pane.

Alternatively, you can do this by doing the following:

6. In IBM® Lotus® Domino(TM) Designer, navigate to Composite Applications-Applications.

7. From the menu, select Composite-New Composite Appplication....

8. Enter a name for the new composite application.

9. Click OK.

10. A new XML element appears in the Applications pane.
