The format attribute defines the format of the resulting text list of author names. This tag has no body.

Note If you use this tag within the context of the viewloop tag, it forces the document to be loaded, which may impair scalability.

format

Format to use to display the author names as defined by the keywords supplied. See Formatting JSP content for a list of available formatting keywords. If not specified, returns a string in which the author names are separated by a semicolon.

If you specify an id name, creates a variable that contains the associated java.util.Vector object. The variable created does not display and is only available within the body of the tag enclosing the authors tag; the authors tag has no body. The format attribute is ignored if an id is provided.

Locale to use to format the text that displays. If specified, overrides the locale that the browser specifies in the AcceptLang string. Use the following syntax: "<languageCode>_<countryCode>". See Locale codes for more details. By default, uses the first locale specified in the AcceptLang string for the browser.
