Displays the value of an item in the current row of a view. The body of this tag is not evaluated.

The following attributes are optional:

col

Column containing the item to display. Defaults to the next column in sequence based on the view definition (if no name is specified). Column numbering begins with 1. If both this and the name attribute are specified, the value supplied in the name attribute takes precedence.

Format to use to display the item value in read-only mode as specified by the keywords supplied. See Formatting JSP content for a list of available formatting keywords. If not specified, the result is turned into a string using the Java toString() method.

If specified, stores the value of the item in a variable, instead of displaying it. The value is stored as a java.lang.Object and the format attribute is ignored.

Locale to use to format the text that displays. If specified, overrides the locale that the browser specifies in the AcceptLang string. Use the following syntax: "<languageCode>_<countryCode>". See Locale codes for more details. By default, uses the first locale specified in the AcceptLang string for the browser.

Name of the column to display. Specify the column title from the Notes database, not the programmatic column name. If both this and the column attributes are specified, the value supplied in this attribute takes precedence.

Time zone to use to display the date. If you do not specify a value, defaults to the time zone of the server (not the browser).
